Good Morning guys,
Although, I believe the team would have been so much more excited if they had made the NCAA tournament. I am hoping that they will come out with the fire in their belly to win this game. My daughter is a senior in high school, and is moving to the University of South Alabama in August. She talked me into buying season tickets this season and we had a fantastic time sharing these games together. She was able to come to about 10 of the games. Tonight, is going to be a special night as this is very likely to be the last time, we will be able to go to a basketball game together for quite a while.
I believe Jelly is going to have a great night. He seemed extremely emotional before Senior night as UAB has truly been his home. He went off for 32 in his last home game. So, I am hoping the City of Birmingham shows out for the team. I was told the students are on Spring break so that section might be skinnier. I’m guessing about 6,000 show up. Despite not being the Big Dance, it is still a postseason game in a tournament where Alabama-Birmingham could go far. I’ll be there but will not be pulling for the Blazers.
