UAB Football Transfer Portal Update (5/3)
Good morning guys,
Good content on UAB football and who is in the portal.
Other than that, one main player you guys did not indicate that we should hit the panic button yet.
Obviously, I assume in the short future we will get the Patreon Podcast with the names of who UAB has picked up or targeting in football.
You guys have completely killed it with the basketball content in the Patreon. You guys talk about them on the Patreon, then I go and follow them on Instagram and Twitter, and like most young people they post a lot of their visit to UAB. If they go somewhere else, I guess I will unfollow them.
Lastly, I hated to hear your friend Steve Irvine and him not being retained with 1819 News. I am not sure if you guys could do more with him in covering UAB sports. I think UAB would be crazy not to hire him as a writer even if it is strictly Social Media articles, etc. His information has been very helpful, and I imagine you guys might get some of your intel from him as well.
